This will be a two-layer stencil, sprayed on a red folder of mine. I'm very proud I managed to do it in only two layers, I have a tendency to complicate things. Well, kinda three, as the space under his hand will have to be covered throughout. But that doesn't really count.

As soon as I saw this photo on the cover of a Bach CD I knew I had to do something with it. It's so lovely. And I have a thing for pianists. I'm afraid I couldn't do it justice. But I'll be very happy to have this on my folder sometime soonish (although the idea of cutting that is scaring me a little).

Many, many hours of work in photoshop, drawing over the photo in an attempt to get it to look decent in only two tones, and with no white islands in the black. BUT I WON. AHahahahaha.

Given that I still have to find an A3 printer somewhere (this is at 50% zoom, the final thing will be big ), and that anyway I can still change things after it's printed and I'm still cutting, there's still time to fix things if they need to be fixed. Please please tell me if anything doesn't look right. I've spent so much time on this, I won't mind spending a couple more minutes getting it nearer perfect, and I'm not seeing it straight myself any more.
